A Utah man was arrested Friday in Alabama on child sex crimes in his home state.
Police in Sheffield said they were notified by the Vernal City Police Department in Utah of warrants for the arrest of Damien Zachary Marshall on two counts of sodomy of a child and one count of sexual abuse of a child.
Vernal officials also gave their Alabama counterparts an address, and Marshall was taken into custody on Friday.
He’s being held in the Sheffield City Jail while awaiting extradition back to Utah.
Neither the Alabama nor the Utah police departments provided any further information about the charges against Marshall. They didn’t even give his age.
